Did You Know? Kid Rock’s Sister Jill Ritchie is an Actress
By admin | February 4, 2008
Did you know that Kid Rock’s little sister, Jill Ritchie is a young actress?
Her film credits include parts in “Ready to Rumble“, “Nancy Drew“, “Breakin’ All the Rules” and “Herbie: Fully Loaded.” Jill Ritchie is most famous as a member of the all-girl crime fighting group D.E.B.S. alongside Sara Foster, Jordana Brewster, Devon Aoki and Meagan Good. Jill’s passion for acting developed in the 6th grade when she played the Snow Queen in the production of “The Nutcracker”. After that, she continued to star in numerous plays around the outskirts of Detroit, along with 15 years of dance training and 4 years of vocal training. At the age of 18, Jill decided to pursue her dream of becoming a professional actress. Her first stop was her attendance at Depaul University’s Theatre School for one year, after which she transferred to the University of Southern California (USC). At USC she starred in many plays including the musicals “Guys and Dolls” and “West Side Story”. Jill got her first TV break during college, with a role on the hit TV show “ Beverly Hills, 90210”.
Jill Ritchie says she and her brother knew as kids growing up in the northern Detroit suburb of Romeo that they would be professional entertainers. “We’re both creative people,” she says.

Hey, I’m new at this,I am doing this for my lil brother who is the huge KID ROCK fan, I am trying to grant a wish for 43yr.old man who has stage 4 tongue cancer. He has done chem and radation, On may 10th he had to have his whole tongue removed, his bed of his mouth, his larynx, and his lymph nodes. He has a trac and a feeding tube, the trac will be removed in time, but the feeding tube will be with him for the rest of his life. He under went a 12 hour surgery, he had a team of Dr.’s, like 15 of them, they were great! They were able to make him a new tongue using skin from his stomach. It’s crazy the things that medical and science can do. My brother is home from the hospital and doing well, it will take 1 year or longer the Dr.’s say. My older brother and myself are holding a benefit for him in July. What I’m trying to do is ask KID ROCK to grant a dream come true for him, with card,a letter, a phone call. It would be something for him that would be the greatest thing ever.
